How to Use — Zenwoof Self-Cleaning Brush

Welcome! You've just received your Zenwoof Self-Cleaning Brush™. Here's how to get the most out of it, in just a few minutes.

Before First Use

  • Take the brush out of its packaging and give it a quick inspection.
  • Let your pet get familiar with the brush: let them sniff it, rest it gently on their back without pressing, and reward them. The goal: helping them associate the brush with a positive moment.

How to Brush Your Pet — in 3 Steps

Step 1 — Brush in the Direction of the Coat

Hold the brush firmly by the non-slip handle. Brush your dog or cat from head to tail, following the direction of the fur. Focus on areas where they shed the most (sides, back, hindquarters).

Duration: 2 to 5 minutes per session is plenty.

Step 2 — Let the Bristles Do the Work

The soft bristles capture loose fur, tangles, and dirt as you go. The more you brush, the more it collects at the base of the bristles.

Step 3 — Empty with One Click

Once the brush is full, press the button on top of the handle. The bristles retract into the housing and the fur comes out in a compact clump, ready to throw away.

Tips for Effective Brushing

  • Frequency: 2 to 3 times a week during shedding season (spring, fall), once a week the rest of the year.
  • Stressed pet? Do short sessions (1 minute) with rewards. Most pets end up loving it.
  • Long fur: start at the tips, then work up toward the roots to detangle without pulling.
  • Sensitive areas (belly, ears, tail): press very lightly, or skip if your pet doesn't like it.

Brush Care

  • After each use, empty the fur with the button and wipe the bristles with a dry cloth.
  • Once a month, you can rinse it with warm soapy water. Dry it completely before storing.
  • Do not put the brush in the dishwasher or washing machine.
