How to Use — Zenwoof Self-Cleaning Brush

Welcome! You just received your Zenwoof Self-Cleaning Brush™. Here's how to get the most out of it in just a few minutes.

Before First Use

  • Unbox the brush and give it a quick inspection.
  • Let your pet get familiar with it: let them sniff it, gently rest it on their back without pressing, then reward them. The goal is for them to associate the brush with a positive experience.

How to Brush Your Pet — 3 Steps

Step 1 — Brush With the Coat

Hold the brush firmly by the non-slip handle. Brush your dog or cat from head to tail, going with the coat. Pay extra attention to areas where they shed the most (sides, back, hindquarters).

Duration: 2 to 5 minutes per session is plenty.

Step 2 — Let the Pins Do the Work

The soft pins capture dead hair, tangles, and debris as you go. The more you brush, the more hair collects at the base of the pins.

Step 3 — Empty With One Click

Once the brush is full, press the button on the top of the handle. The pins retract into the housing and the hair falls out in one compact clump — ready to toss in the trash.

Tips for a Better Grooming Session

  • Frequency: 2–3 times a week during shedding season (spring, fall), once a week the rest of the year.
  • Nervous pet? Start with short sessions (1 minute) plus treats. Most pets end up loving it.
  • Long coats: Start at the tips and work toward the roots to detangle without pulling.
  • Sensitive areas (belly, ears, tail): apply very light pressure, or skip those spots if your pet dislikes it.

Brush Care

  • After each use, eject the hair with the button and wipe the pins with a dry cloth.
  • Once a month, you can rinse it under warm soapy water. Dry it completely before storing.
  • Do not put the brush in the dishwasher or washing machine.
